Drug Discovery Laboratory AS

Drug Discovery Laboratory AS (DDL) was established in 1995. The Company is located in the Oslo Science Park, close to the University of Oslo.

DDL has the knowledge, facilities and equipment for drug discovery and development, including synthesis and characterisation, chemical analysis, drug formulation and larger scale production. We have the standard equipment for organic synthesis, several HPLC systems, UV spectrometers, freeze drier, climate room for stability studies and various drug release equipment. DDL has access to various NMR instruments and various MS/LC-MS systems through agreements with the University of Oslo and other national collaborators.

Who are we?

DDL's full time scientists all have an education related to pharmaceutical science or drug synthesis at least on M. Sc. /M. Sc. Pharm. level. Several of DDL's employees have long experience in pre-clinical and clinical development of new drugs.
